North Jonesboro homes sit close to Arkansas State University and the municipal airport, where summer humidity and sudden storms hit roofs hard. A roofing contractor working these blocks sees a mix of 1960s brick ranches and later additions along Highland Drive and North Main Street. Crews plan work around campus traffic and airport flight paths while checking for wind-driven rain under older shingles.
Craighead County weather brings hot, wet summers that speed up shingle aging and mild winters that still allow ice dams on north-facing slopes. In North Jonesboro the flat lots and occasional poor drainage mean crews pay extra attention to flashing around chimneys and valleys. Owner-operated teams from Jonesboro, AR keep the same schedule every week so neighbors know when to expect a truck.
Serving Paragould customers from the same base lets the crew bring the right materials for both towns without extra trips. Homes near the university often need quick leak response during semester move-in periods when attic access can be tight.

Roofing Contractor in North Jonesboro, AR — Local Notes
- •North Jonesboro lots near the airport see extra wind uplift on ridge caps during spring storms, so crews add extra fasteners on replacement jobs.
- •Older homes along North Main Street often have limited driveway access, requiring staged material drops to avoid blocking resident parking.
- •Summer heat combined with humidity in Craighead County makes afternoon tear-offs slower, so morning starts are standard for asphalt shingle work.
- •University Heights edges into North Jonesboro with many rental properties that need quick, clean repairs between tenants.
